Overall Rating

Pros The best thing overall about the ElliptiGo 3C is the price. At $1,999, the 3C is the basic model in the line of outdoor elliptical bikes by ElliptiGo, offering users the ability to get essentially two machines in one. As an elliptical, this model is a low-impact trainer with a stance and stride similar to a traditional elliptical trainer and as a bicycle, the 3C allows users to have the familiar controls of a traditional bicycle with similar pedaling motion.
Cons Since the ElliptiGo is an outdoor elliptical machine, there is no console so there is no way to monitor workouts or enjoy entertainment features like MP3 compatability. There is also nowhere to put a water bottle or hold an MP3 or smart phone for listening to music. In addition, with only 3 levels of speed, or resistance, and a lower climbing grade at only up to 5%, the 3C is limited on what terrain users can explore.
Summary The ElliptiGo 3C is a uniquely designed outdoor elliptical bike that comes with three basic speeds and a limited grade of only up to 5%. However, it is ideal for users who want to get a great cardiovascualar workout, like running or biking, without the impact on joints. The 3C is ideal for everyday use on mild terrain, and it is a very unique way to enjoy working out outdoors while also using an elliptical trainer.
